USDEC will be participating in Active Nutrition session of the FoodNavigator-Asia.com Growth Asia Interactive Broadcast Series.

The series brings together leading experts from a range of disciplines to discuss key issues impacting the diverse consumer, regulatory, and business landscape of the Asia-Pacific region's food and beverage sector. According to the organizer, the region's active and sports nutrition market was valued at $1.4bn in 2019 and is forecast to hit $2.3bn by 2023. With rising interest in fitness and wellness fueling this growth, it represents a significant opportunity for U.S. dairy proteins.

Invited USDEC key opinion leader Dr. Chris Mohr, co-owner of Mohr Results, Inc., will highlight the science-backed benefits of whey and milk proteins for achieving a healthful, active lifestyle. This will include their important role in supporting exercise recovery as well as distinguishing the nutritional quality of dairy proteins when compared to other sources, like plants.
