Active Healthy Aging with U.S. Dairy Proteins Innovation Workshop
May 7–8, 2025
Singapore

USDEC's second innovation workshop of the year is coming up on May 7-8 at the U.S. Center for Dairy Excellence (U.S. CDE) in Singapore. With a theme of active healthy aging, this exclusive workshop will focus on the innovative uses of U.S. dairy protein ingredients in products that fit the unique nutritional and lifestyle needs of older adults and seniors.
Designed for food and beverage formulators from across Southeast Asia but with an emphasis on Thailand and Singapore, the event will offer valuable insights into the nutritional and functional benefits of U.S. dairy (whey milk and casein) proteins, along with insights on consumer interests, concerns and priorities as they prepare for silver years.
The workshop will be led by Martin Teo, USDEC Southeast Asia's Senior Director of Food Applications and Innovation, with additional presentations by USDEC's Anoo Pothen, Vice President, Strategic Insights, Siew Guan Lee, Associate Extension Professor of the University of Idaho in Twin Falls, and Dr. Kalpana Bhaskaran, School of Applied Science at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore.
At the close of Day 2, USDEC members will also have the opportunity to engage directly with participants, showcasing company capabilities and product offerings to a targeted audience of industry professionals.
